Verizon customers in Virginia Beach face emergency call disruptions

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Verizon customers in Virginia Beach were experiencing issues making emergency calls due to an ongoing mobile service issue Thursday morning, according to city officials.

Citizens who needed emergency help and were unable to get through to 911 were urged to keep trying until the call connects. It was also recommended to use a landline or Wi-Fi calling if available.
