VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Country music songwriter and performer, Ashley Anne, 22, is planning to join the line-up of musicians at the May 22-24 Patriotic Festival. The Virginia Beach native is now based in Nashville, Tenn., and has recently released her third EP: Generational Heartbreak.
She is scheduled to open for Zach Top on May 22. Her music “blends coastal ease with emotionally sharp, story-forward songwriting influenced by The Beach Boys, ABBA and Dolly Parton,” Katrina Younce, spokesperson for the Patriotic Festival, said.
Anne is featured on Carly Pearce’s next album and gained notoriety with her hits, “Dear Dolly” and “She Ain’t Texas.” She has collaborated with Charles Wesley Godwin, Avery Anna, and Max McNown, among other musicians…
