ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — A man from Washington D.C. is in custody following a pursuit Monday night in Rockingham County.
Shortly before 10 o’clock, Sheriff Bryan Hutcheson reports that deputies were attempting to stop a vehicle headed eastbound on Spotswood Trail for Reckless Driving when the suspect vehicle suddenly fled in the McGaheysville area.
“After a very brief pursuit the vehicle crashed and overturned near East Point Road, and the driver of the vehicle fled on foot,” Hutcheson said. “After a brief foot pursuit, the individual was safely apprehended.”…
