Man injured in shooting on Pennsylvania Avenue in Southeast DC; MPD investigating

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Police are investigating a Southeast D.C. shooting that left a man injured Monday morning.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to the shooting in the 1500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE just before 8:50 a.m.

At the scene, officers reported finding a man with a gunshot wound. Responders transported the man, who was conscious and breathing, to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
