WASHINGTON (7News) — An armed carjacking on Wednesday led to an officer firing at a suspect and ended with a 13-year-old being arrested, according to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).
MPD said the 13-year-old and another suspect pointed a rifle at a driver before stealing their 2026 Honda Civic in the 700 block of 19th Street NE around 1:20 a.m. on June 24.
