WASHINGTON, D.C. (7News) — Keisha Lewis said when she walked into the office of her new job, a rat ran across the room – she describes a nightmare ever since.
Lewis, a former coordinator at Columbia Heights Education Campus, said she is desperate to bring awareness to a large issue regarding mice and rodent droppings being found around the school.
“It’s an unsafe environment; I know some other teachers there have true phobias of them, it makes it hard to be comfortable in your work environment, and then the same thing for students,” Lewis told 7News…
