WASHINGTON (7News) — Firefighters quickly extinguished a basement fire at a home in Northwest Washington, D.C. on Monday, preventing the blaze from spreading beyond the lower level, according to the D.C. Fire and EMS Department.
Crews responded to the 6600 block of Barnaby Street NW in the Barnaby Woods neighborhood after being dispatched for a residential fire alarm around 1:40 p.m.
