More restrictions on student parking proposed in Lake Braddock neighborhoods

It soon could be more challenging for Lake Braddock Secondary School students wishing to park without purchasing an annual pass from the school.

At its meeting on July 14, the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors authorized a public hearing for Aug. 25 to consider further restrictions on non-resident parking around the school.

Residents of Queen Victoria Court and Cork Place have petitioned to be included in Residential Permit Parking District (RPPD) 5 due to what staff have described as “the large number of student vehicles” taking up spaces there during school hours…
