Two Maryland Restaurants Named Among D.C. Area’s Best Affordable Dining Options

Two Maryland restaurants, both with locations in Montgomery County, have been included in Eater DC’s list of the “Best Affordable Dining Options in the D.C. Area.”

Quarry House Tavern, located at 8401 Georgia Ave in Silver Spring, is a popular local dive bar known for its burgers, famous tots, craft beer selection, and other bar fare, with several menu items starting around $5.

“This is one of Silver Spring’s oldest bars, and it keeps prices low to inflation-proof levels,” Eater wrote. “The bar focuses on Maryland craft beer and $3 PBRs daily from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Bar snacks like tots, pulled pork sliders, and onion rings are around $5 and up.
