WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A judge signed off on arrest warrants for six current and former Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) members, officials announced Tuesday.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office (USAO) for the District of Columbia said that these members — Peter Sheldon, Frantz Fulcher, Thomas Krmenec, Bernadette Richardson, Dorrie Smith Cleere and Johnnie Dyer — are charged with fraudulently claiming overtime after they are accused of claiming hours not worked during the calendar year 2024.
After they are arrested, each individual will be charged with first-degree fraud, first-degree theft, forgery and uttering.
