Woman hurt, suspect arrested in Bowie shooting: Police

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — A woman was seriously hurt after being shot inside a Bowie home on Thursday, according to the Bowie Police Department.

Police said officers responded at 4:20 p.m. to reports of a shooting inside a home in the 8500 block of Myrtle Ave.

There, the woman was found suffering from a gunshot wound to her upper torso in the bedroom, and Prince George’s County Fire and EMS began giving her aid.
