Boy rescued after large tree crashes into Prince George’s County home

KETTERING, Md. (7News) — A juvenile was rescued and taken to a hospital for evaluation after a large tree fell onto a home in Kettering, Maryland, early Friday morning, trapping him inside.

The Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Department said crews were called around 12:04 a.m. to the 300 block of Wren Court for a reported collapse.

Firefighters found a large tree that had fallen onto a single-family home, damaging the roof and a bedroom.

One juvenile male was trapped inside the home and was eventually extricated by emergency crews. He was taken for evaluation…
