The rollout of New York City’s pied-à-terre tax has been fraught, but that hasn’t stopped other cities from trying to follow in its footsteps.
Officials in Washington, D.C., are considering the possibility of a similar tax in the district, real estate outlet UrbanTurf reported. The tax is expected to come up for discussion at a D.C. Council meeting scheduled for next month.
