Baltimore-Washington Parkway closed after fiery crash with multiple critical injuries

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (7News) — Four people were hospitalized after two vehicles crashed early Saturday on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway (Route 295), causing a vehicle rollover with fire, according to the U.S. Park Police.

Officers responded around 2:50 a.m. to the crash on the northbound side of the parkway south of Maryland Route 197, Laurel-Bowie Road in the South Laurel area.

U.S. Park Police initially reported that three people had been taken to hospitals with life-threatening injuries. In an update, the agency said six people were involved in the crash, and four were taken to hospitals. Three of those patients had life-threatening injuries…
