WASHINGTON – DC Police homicide detectives are investigating after possible human remains were discovered Friday morning behind a Ward 7 apartment building. Officers were called to the 4300 block of Brooks Street NE around 11:45 a.m. Friday on a report of remains discovered by workers. They arrived and were directed to the rear of a residential building where they located the remains.
