WASHINGTON (7News) — Northwest D.C. neighbors hosted a “Rat Roundup” in their neighborhood on Wednesday as the city’s ongoing rat problem persists.
Residents in Shaw got together to discuss what they’re seeing and how they can assist rate abatement efforts. That includes some simple advice from one neighbor to another:
“Don’t feed the rats!” resident Francesca Dixon told 7News. “We have a rat problem on my block, and we have some people that are feeding the rats.”
