Police on the lookout for 10-15 boys after shooting leaves 1 wounded in Northwest DC

WASHINGTON — Police are investigating after a person was shot in Northwest D.C. on Thursday afternoon. Officers are on the lookout for a large group of underage boys connected to the shooting.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting happened in the rear of an establishment in the 4500 block of Wisconsin Avenue, just minutes from the WUSA9 newsroom.

DC Fire and EMS said one person was seriously wounded in the shooting. That victim has only been identified as a male with no specified age. The victim was conscious and breathing when first responders arrived…
