May 28, 2026- West Boca Medical Center completes a $2.3 million investment to expand and modernize its labor and delivery department.
The multi-phase project included renovations to two nursing stations, expansion of the post anesthesia care unit (PACU) to enhance comfort and recovery for mothers delivering via c-section, and expansion of the hospital’s dedicated OB Emergency Department. The project also includes construction of a new luxury labor suite designed to provide an elevated birthing experience for expectant families.
The approximately 478-square-foot suite features a dedicated family area, a spacious and upgraded bathroom, and allows mothers to remain in one room throughout labor, delivery and postpartum recovery.
