Man found guilty of firing at five Taco Bell workers, injuring two, in Palm Beach County

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — The man who shot at five Taco Bell employees, injuring two of them while they were serving customers, was found guilty by a jury on Tuesday.

According to the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office, Chevaus Stewart was convicted Thursday, May 28, of attempted first-degree murder with a firearm, attempted second-degree murder and armed burglary. The State Attorney’s Office said he also pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Stewart is scheduled to be sentenced June 22…
