WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A man who attacked a West Palm Beach police officer outside a gas station in March 2024 has been sentenced to 30 years in prison, according to the State Attorney’s Office.
The Office of State Attorney Alexcia Cox announced Friday that Brandon McCray pleaded guilty to six charges, including robbery with a weapon, aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer with a deadly weapon and resisting an officer without violence.
The State Attorney’s Office said that on March 8, 2024, a West Palm Beach police officer approached McCray about allegedly stealing cigarettes and a bottle of liquor.
