Construction is slated to start this summer on a mixed-use housing project in Boynton Beach.
The Pierce has been in the works for more than five years, with Florida YIMBY first covering the venture in 2021. Our initial report indicated that the venture was set to include 236 apartments, half of which would be designated as workforce housing. Now, most recent plans call for 300 apartments and 17,015 square feet of retail space.
Homes at The Pierce would span one- to three-bedroom layout plans. One-hundred and fifty units would be market-rate apartments, while the remaining would be reserved for households earning 80 to 120 percent of the area median income (AMI).
Communal amenities at The Pierce are set to include a swimming pool, fitness center, dog park, and outdoor recreational areas. Additionally, there would be 587 parking spots for both residential and third-party use…
