JUPITER — A four-story office building may soon rise on the old Jupiter Dive Center site along the town waterfront near Sawfish Bay Park.
Albers Land Co., which owns the property, plans to construct a 48-foot-tall building on the vacant half-acre space along North Alternate A1A. It would have an elevated first floor with parking beneath it, a roof deck and multiple balconies, according to renderings. Two boat slips behind the property would be for the private use of the business that occupies it.
The Town Council voted 4-1 in favor of the site plan for the project, known as the Bayside Office Building. Mayor Jim Kuretski voted against approval, saying he didn’t find the Bayside building’s height and scale to be consistent with the low-lying character of the area…
