PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — Most people glance at their wireless bill, check the amount due and pay it. Two Palm Beach County customers say that’s exactly why they almost missed charges they say should not have been on their accounts.
After reviewing their AT&T bills line by line, the customers told the CBS12 News I-Team they discovered phone numbers, devices and monthly charges they say they did not authorize or did not recognize. Both said resolving the issues took months of phone calls and repeated disputes before they ultimately received credits or refunds.
Now, they hope their experiences serve as a warning for all wireless customers to carefully review every line on their monthly bills.
