LAKE WORTH BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A Lake Worth Beach man is facing multiple felonies after deputies say he tried to swallow cocaine during a traffic stop, then threw a blood-covered needle at a nurse at a hospital.
According to a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office affidavit, deputies stopped 49-year-old Tremaine Elton Hollis around 2:19 p.m. Thursday near South Dixie Highway and 10th Avenue South after he allegedly ran a stop sign on an e-bike.
