A man was shot and killed outside a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office substation on Thursday morning after attacking a deputy in the parking lot, authorities said.
Deputies were dispatched around 7:35 a.m. to the District 19 Substation in the Town of South Palm Beach regarding a man asking for medical help. A female deputy arrived and met the man, later identified as 31-year-old Rex Alexander Magann, outside the building.
