PBSO: 4 DUI arrests in latest Palm Beach County saturation patrol crackdown

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office says four people were arrested on DUI charges during an overnight saturation patrol late Friday into early Saturday, the latest in a recent series of traffic crackdowns across the county.

According to PBSO, deputies with the Traffic Division conducted the DUI saturation patrol from 8 p.m. April 24 until 4 a.m. April 25, using high-visibility enforcement aimed at impaired drivers and other traffic violations. By the end of the operation, deputies reported 42 traffic stops, four DUI arrests, one misdemeanor arrest, one criminal citation, 29 traffic citations and 25 traffic warnings.

The latest patrol follows several similar enforcement operations CBS12 has reported on in recent months. In March, a DUI saturation patrol in Royal Palm Beach resulted in 67 traffic stops, one DUI arrest, three criminal citations, 26 traffic citations and 57 traffic warnings…
