PALM BEACH COUNTY, Florida — A coordinated operation led to the arrest of Luis Merary Peralta-Sevilla, a confirmed MS-13 gang member from Honduras, according to a press release from ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations.
Peralta-Sevilla, who entered the U.S. illegally in 2013, was apprehended by the Florida Highway Patrol during a vehicle stop, and subsequently taken into custody by ICE without incident, stated ICE Director Todd M. Lyons. He is pending removal proceedings with a Department of Justice immigration judge and will remain in custody until those proceedings are concluded.
