RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A judge on Thursday denied a motion for a mistrial filed by attorneys for former Riviera Beach police officer Carl Johnson, ruling there was not enough evidence of juror misconduct to justify further investigation.
During a hearing, Johnson’s defense team argued that statements from an alternate juror raised concerns about how the jury reached its verdict in the vehicular homicide case.
