WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A Wichita man has been sentenced to more than two decades in prison for a series of bank robberies in 2024, the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Kansas announced Wednesday.
Zane Tilcock, 21, received a 21-year sentence for two counts of bank robbery and one count of brandishing and using a firearm in relation to a crime of violence.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, on Dec. 11, 2024, Tilcock entered Intrust Bank on South Webb Road wearing a black mask and carrying a semiautomatic handgun. He pointed the weapon at bank employees and demanded money before fleeing with the cash.
