Heavy rain; flooding threats continue

Wednesday – Morning storms will dry up over southern Kansas and the afternoon looks warmer as the sunshine returns. There is another system coming off the Rockies into the night that will bring storms back to western Kansas.

Thursday – Some of the highest rain potential over the next several days will arrive with locally heavy amounts in some locations (especially along and south of I-70). While severe storms are not likely, a few could have some gusty winds and small hail. Be prepared for flooding in low lying areas.
