WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – It’s a stormy start to the day, with showers and storms across western and south central Kansas. Storms will eventually end late this morning, and we’ll be dry for the afternoon. Expect highs generally in the low 80s with mostly cloudy skies.
Another round of storms arrives late this evening, starting in western Kansas and tracking southeast overnight. Some storms could be strong to severe, producing hail and gusty winds. Rain will be heavy at times, and with already saturated ground, there are concerns for flooding.
Heavy showers and storms will continue into Thursday and likely last for most of the day. Once again, storms could be strong to marginally severe, producing small hail and gusty winds. Temperatures will remain below average in the 70s and low 80s…
