WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Fairfield Polo Club in Haysville saw four to five inches of flooding Sunday night. The club was aware of flooding in the area, but had no clue what they would arrive to see.
Before Sunday night, the most rain employees saw was around two inches. William Darrah, one of the workers, experienced the shock.
“I just didn’t believe it,” Darrah said. “The paddocks were underwater, and the hot walker was an island, and it’s just more rain than it’s ever possibly been here.”
