Wichita home manufacturer says its automation makes houses cheaper

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A business in Wichita aims to make building a home more affordable.

Prime Craftsman Homes celebrated the grand opening of its new manufacturing facility in northeast Wichita on Thursday.

The company builds modular homes in a warehouse instead of on-site, which CEO Steve Feilmeier said helps keep costs relatively low.
