CHENEY, Kan. (KWCH) – A campground at Cheney State Park was evacuated on Saturday evening.
In a statement on social media, the park announced that Heimerman Point campground is being evacuated. The park said it’s due to rising lake levels.
The campground is closed until further notice. The park also stated that other areas of the lake are being monitored and may be shut down if safety becomes a concern…
