WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A FedEx truck driver from Wichita was crowned at the National Truck Driving Championships last week in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
FedEx announced on Monday that Terry Covey was named top driver in the Sleeper Berth class, which is a distinction for the type of truck he competed in.

Covey was tested in events that assessed his safety knowledge, driving skill and precision. This was the sixth time he had qualified for the national competition.
