After noise and parking concerns about a short-term rental in Bel Aire last year, the Wichita suburb is looking at creating new regulations for short-term rentals.
Regulations would address quiet hours, parking requirements, number of short-term rentals allowed per owner, density requirements, permit requirements and more.
Bel Aire’s code does cover bed and breakfasts — defined as a manager-occupied structure providing rooms to no more than 15 guests — but no city code directly covers short-term rentals…
