It’s been closed for more than two months. The phone number has been disconnected. And Google recently changed the status on its business listing from “temporarily closed” to “permanently closed.”
Still, says Hayley Makovec of Towne East Square, the Bb.q Chicken restaurant that opened on the east-facing side of the mall in July 2024 will be back.
Though the mall hasn’t been given an exact opening date, Makovec said, she’s been told that restaurant should be up and running again soon. Makovec is the mall’s director of marketing and business development.
She said she did not want to speak on behalf of the business owner about the reason for the closing. Multiple messages and calls to the restaurant have gone unanswered. Its last Instagram post, from July 9, encourages people to apply for open cashier positions…
