Fuel pumps at eight Wichita gas stations — including a QuikTrip, Sam’s Club and Circle K — were flagged as problematic during August inspections.
The inspections were part of the Kansas Department of Agriculture’s Gas Pump program, which tests more than 20,000 fuel pumps every year. Every gas station is inspected every 18 months, and also after customer complaints or when follow-up inspections are needed.
