Man arrested after 14-year-old shot in north Wichita, police say

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — An 18-year-old was arrested Friday evening in connection with a north Wichita shooting that injured a 14-year-old boy.

Around 6 p.m. Friday, officers were dispatched to a reported shooting in the area of North Market and West 25th streets.

Upon arrival, they learned the shooting stemmed from a disturbance between two groups, both of which left the scene in separate vehicles before police arrived…
