Despite Wichita being out of the boil water advisory, the KDHE previously listed seven communities and three rural water districts still under advisory.

Some people in Derby are left wondering why they still have to boil their water if Wichita’s is okay.
“We were wondering how come Derby was delayed one day, or maybe even a couple of days, for the results that Wichita got as of yesterday at 5:30, so that was the main topic of discussion,” said Judi Palmer, a Derby resident.
