Two Wichitans sentenced for meth, fentanyl trafficking

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A Wichita woman and man have been sentenced to drug-related crimes stemming from an investigation in Jan. 2022.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office said Andrea Kendall, 43, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. Co-defendant Aaron Roberson, 39, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.

Kendall was sentenced to 57 months in prison, while Roberson was sentenced to 22 months.

The U.S Attorney’s Office said in Jan. 2022, an undercover Sedgwick County sheriff’s deputy arranged to purchase meth from Kendall. She sold the deputy two ounces of meth and 100 fentanyl pills.

Law enforcement observed the transaction, then followed Kendall to another location where her vehicle was searched. Deputies found 12.25 grams of heroin, nearly a pound of meth, as well as methadone, amphetamine, Pregabalin and fentanyl pills.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office said Kendall was stopped multiple times. Roberson was a passenger in her vehicle at the time of a different traffic stop in September 2022.
