WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – High winds and fire danger will be the biggest concerns on Tuesday for much of Kansas, while the risk of storms will be limited to areas east of Wichita. A few severe storms are going to be possible southeast of the turnpike, and should quickly move to the east.
Very low humidity across central and western Kansas could help fires spread quickly. High temperatures will once again be well into the 80s.
Midweek should calm down both with the winds and storm chances, and highs will cool down slightly for Kansas…
