WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A Sedgwick County judge ruled Tuesday that a competency evaluation for a woman accused in a DUI crash that killed a mom and daughter will happen.
Clowie McLaughlin is charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter while under the influence.
The August crash killed LaShea Bell and her daughter, A’Niah Bell, near Central Avenue and Webb Road.

Court documents say proceedings in McLaughlin’s case are suspended until a competency evaluation can be performed on her.
