Trial set for man charged in deadly Wichita hit-and-run

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A trial date was set Wednesday for a Wichita man accused of second-degree murder and leaving the scene of an accident last year.

During an arraignment in Sedgwick County District Court, Chance Flores-Leach entered a plea of not guilty, and his trial was set for July 27. Court documents show that he is not in custody.

In November, police arrested him after three vehicles hit Henry Collins near Central Avenue and Hillside Street. Collins later died at a hospital.
