WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A state-of-the-art YMCA in Hutchinson is set to open its doors on June 8.
The new 75,000-square-foot facility will have a gymnastics center, three-lane indoor track andthe Cosmosphere Space Place climbing structure. There will also be an aquatics center that includes a lap pool, lazy river, family pool and zip line.
The new branch at 2000 N. Lorraine St. will replace the Hutchinson Y’s current location on East 13th Avenue.

The land where it was built was a donation from the Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System, and it forged a partnership between the two organizations.
