WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an accidental shooting that occurred Wednesday, April 29, 2026, in Clearwater.
Around 10:07 a.m., officers with the Clearwater Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 600 block of North 4th Street. When officers arrived, they located 37-year-old Cody Shane Spencer, who was living in a trailer on the property, with an apparent gunshot wound to his leg.
