WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – The last gasp at some rain will come through Friday afternoon, but it will be very hit and miss and many areas won’t see a drop. It comes just ahead of a nice weekend for most of Kansas as rain will be back on hold for Saturday and Sunday.
The chance for rain will start fading overnight, but Friday afternoon some spotty showers will redevelop over the eastern half of the state. Highs will be in the 60s with light winds nearly statewide.
Saturday morning brings frost potential to western and northern Kansas. Low temperatures drop into the mid 30s but statewide will be much warmer in the afternoon as highs climb to near 70…
