BEL AIRE, Kan. (KWCH) — The Bel Aire City Council will vote tonight on the next phase of the Woodlawn reconstruction project after the work was halted due to soft soil.
The council meeting starts at 7 p.m. at Bel Aire City Hall. Council members are considering two different solutions to address the soil issue.
Residents express frustration
For months, a large chunk of Woodlawn has been totally excavated, causing trouble for people in Bel Aire.
“Again the overwhelming feeling is just frustration,” said Sarah Koehn, a Bel Aire resident. “If you’re trying to get anybody where you are they’re like oh I’m gonna fall into the pit.”…
