WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Wesley Medical Center is expanding the emergency department at its location in northeast Wichita.
The project will convert an existing medical office at the Woodlawn Hospital & ER into an emergency department. The project will almost double the facility’s size and allow the hospital to add 12 beds.
The existing space for the emergency department will also get some upgrades, including an interior renovation and a new chiller and roof. Construction is expected to start in the fall and last until 2028.
