WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – While it is a wet start to our Wednesday across most of the state, both rain and snow are falling in western Kansas, and some roads are slick in spots. Expect the snow to change back over to rain and slowly end from north to south this afternoon.
Between the clouds and moisture, today will not feel like May. Afternoon temperatures in the 40s and lower 50s will more resemble March and are 20 to 30 degrees below normal. Factor in a brisk northeast breeze and it will feel even cooler.
As the sun returns tomorrow, so do warmer temperatures. Near normal highs in the lower to middle 70s on Thursday will be followed by lower 80s on Friday. Both days will also be dry with relatively light winds…
